In the early stages of his career, Allan worked in the supply of world-leading processing equipment throughout the United Kingdom. During this period, he developed a vast network of end users and gained in-depth knowledge of different material types, their values, and recovery processes. This foundational experience was instrumental in shaping his expertise in the field.

Subsequently, Allan undertook a challenging role with one of the UK's leading private businesses. In this capacity, he managed a multi-geographical operation, overseeing sales and service delivery. Allan utilized his knowledge of operational efficiencies to enhance the commercial and collection aspects of the business from a holistic perspective. His ability to optimize operations proved invaluable in this fast-paced and dynamic role. This period of his career was marked by organic expansion, increased geographical coverage through acquisitions, and the onboarding of several large-scale clients across the UK.
